Welcome to the Internet site of the Kleczkowski's family !

Our names are Adam and Marta. We have 5 children aged 7-18 years. Asia (Eng. Joanna) has just turned 18, lives, works and studies in England. Janek (Eng, John), Tomek (Eng. Thomas), Gosia (Eng. Margaret) and Hania (Eng. Hanna) live and study at home in Scotland. Adam and Marta come from Poland and even though our children were born in Germany and England, we keep close links to Poland while living and being fully immersed in English and Scottish culture. We have recently been joined by a dog, Bella, who is a border collie-labrador mix and was rescued from a side of a local road.

Adam and Marta left Poland in 1989, moving first to Germany where Adam worked as a scientist. In 1992, Adam's job brought him to Cambridge (England) and in 2007 we moved to Scotland. We are currently renting a house in Aberdona near Stirling.

We are Christians - that is we believe in God and try to understand His will as expressed in the Bible, and to follow His ways in all aspects of our life. The parents were brought up as Catholics, became born-again in a small Charismatic-Evangelical fellowship in Poland and subsequently joined Ely Christian Fellowship in Ely (England, currently called the Lighthouse). Over the last few years we have also become increasingly associated with the Mennonite way and we keep close contacts with the Conservative Mennonite missions in Ireland and Poland. Our eldest daughter is a member of the Lighthouse in Ely; the remaining family is searching for a local church in Scotland.

We are homeschooling our children - teaching them at home instead of sending them to school. We do this mainly because we want to ensure that they are trained in God's ways, rather than in worldly pursuits.
